INGREDIENTS:

  • RICE                                           1/2 KG
  • SUGAR                                       1 1/2 CUP
  • OIL                                              1/2 CUP
  • TUTIFRUITY                            1/4 CUP
  • RAISINS                                     1 TBSP
  • ALMOND (SOAKED)               2 TBSP   (SLICED)
  • CASHEW                                    2 TBSP
  • COCONUT SLICES                  2 TBSP
  • GREEN CARDAMOM             3 PIECES
  • KHOYA                                       1/4 CUP
  • PISTACHEW                              1 TBSP
  • SWEATS                                      AS REQUIRED
  • FOOD COLORS                        FEW DROPS (RED, GREEN, ORANGE )
FOR CHICKEN:   

  • CHICKEN BREAST CUBES       1 CUP
  • SALT                                                1/2 TSP
  • SUGAR                                            1 TSP
  • RED CHILLI POWDER               1/4 TSP
  • CARDAMOM POWDER              1/4 TSP
  • YOGURT                                         2TBSP
  • OIL                                                    2 TBSP
FOR BOILING RICE :

  • RICE                                                 1/2 KG
  • WATER FOR BOILING                 AS REQUIRED
  • SALT                                                 1TBSP
  • CLOVES                                           5 PIECES
  • STAR ANISE                                    2 PIECES

RECIPE:

  •  TAKE A LARGE PAN  AND ADD TO THE WATER AND ALL THE  BOILING INGREDIENTS IN IT.
  • COOK THE RICE FULLY DONE AND NOW WATER DRAIN AND SET ASIDE.
  • NOW, HEAT THE OIL AND ADD THE CHICKEN CUBES AND  FRY IT UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN THEN ADD ALL THE CHICKEN INGREDIENTS IN IT AND COOK  IT UNTIL SOFT AND TENDER. 
  • NOW IN THE PAN, HEAT THE OIL AND ADD THE GREEN CARDAMOM AND STIR FRY THEN ADD THE SUGAR AND HALF A CUP OF WATER AND COOK UNTIL THE SUGAR IS MELTED. THEN ADD TO THE BOILED RICE AND MIX IT CONTINUOUSLY  UNTIL THE WATER IS DRY.
  • AT THIS POINT, ADD ALL DRY NUTS  AND ADD THE FOOD COLOR(GREEN,  RED, ORANGE ).
  • NOW PLACE THE FRIED CHICKEN OVER  THE RICE AND  THEN ADD THE KEWRA WATER.
  • NOW, STEAM COOK FOR 10 - 15 MINS.
  • TASTY CHICKEN MUTANJAN IS READY
  • NOW, DISH IT OUT AND SERVE IT.
