INGREDIENTS:

  • whipped cream cheese        1 container (8 ounces)
  • Bread slices                          12
  • orange marmalade                3/4 cup 
  • large eggs                             4
  • Milk                                       2tbsp

RECIPE:

  • Spread cream cheese over 6 slices of bread; top with marmalade and remaining bread. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk.
  • Heat a large greased cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium heat. Dip both sides of the sandwiches into the egg mixture. Place sandwiches in skillet; cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes on each side. If desired, serve with syrup.
