  • RED CHILLI POWDER    1 TSP
  • CORIANDER POWDER   1 TSP
  • CUMIN POWDER              1 TSP
  • BLACK SALT                      1/2 TSP
  • VINEGAR                            2 TBSP
  • YOGURT                             1 CUP
  • GARLIC PASTE                 1/2 TSP
  • GINGER PASTE                 1/2 TSP
  • TOMATOES CHOPPED    2
  • FRIED ONION PASTE       4 TBSP
  • OIL                                         1/2 CUP
ALLSPICE :

  • CARDAMON STICK         1
  • CLOVES                              5
  • CUMIN SEED                     1 TSP
  • STAR ANISE                       3
  • BLACK PEPPER CORN   8
  • BLACK CARDAMON       1
  • GREEN CARDAMON       3
  • BAY LEAF                           3

   FOR RICE:

  • RICE                                        1/2 KG
  • SALT                                        3 TBSP
  • YELLOW FOOD COLOR    1/4 TSP (DISSOLVE IN WATER OR VINEGAR)
  • OIL                                          4SKILLET TBSP
  • YOGURT                                2 TBSP
  • GREEN CHILLI                    4 (FOR GARNISH)
  • LEMON SLICES                   2 (FOR GARNISH)

     RECIPE:

  • IN A  SKILLET, HEAT THE WATER AND ADD SALT, 2TBSP OIL, AND RICE, AND BOILED THEM UNTIL 90% IS DONE.
  • THEN DRAIN OUT  THE WATER AND BOILED RICE SET ASIDE.
  • NOW IN THE PAN, HEAT THE OIL, AND FRY THE CHICKEN UNTIL THE CHICKEN IS GOLDEN BROWN.
  • IN THIS STAGE, ADD GARLIC & GINGER PASTE AND STIR FRY.
  • THEN ADD SALT, RED CHILLI, CUMIN POWDER, AND CORIANDER POWDER.
  • NOW ADD ALLSPICE AND STIR FRY.
  • AT THIS POINT, ADD ONION PASTE, TOMATOES, AND YOGURT AND FRY ALL OF THEM.
  • NOW ADD A LITTLE AMOUNT OF WATER AND COOK THE CHICKEN ON LOW FLAME UNTIL THE CHICKEN IS COOKED AND THE OIL IS SEPARATED.
  • NOW TAKE  A  SKILLET AND ADD IN  2 TBSP OIL AND  1 TBSP  YOGURT/
  • NOW ADD ONE LAYER OF BOILED RICE, THEN ADD THE CHICKEN MIXTURE, AND THEN ADD A SECOND LAYER OF RICE.
  • NOW, GARNISH  WITH GREEN CHILLIES AND LEMON SLICES THEN  POUR THE FOOD COLOR (DISSOLVE IN SOME WATER OR VINEGAR).
  • NOW COVER THE SKILLET WITH A LID TIGHTLY  AND LET IT FINISH COOKING ON LOW HEAT FOR 15 MINS.
  • DELICIOUS BALOCHI CHICKEN BIRYANI IS READY TO SERVE.
